Mothers & More of Montgomery County, PA Chapter #232 Join Now! Mothers & More is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy. We address mothers needs as individuals and members of society, and promote the value of all the work mothers do. GET CONNECTED WITH LIKE-MINDED WOMEN!!!
Perhaps you’ve decided to stay in the paid workforce and are
struggling with maintaining your competitive edge, guilt, or
a loss of balance.
Perhaps you've
decided to take time out from the paid workforce to be with your children.
You're happy with your decision, yet at times you feel as if you're home
alone.
OR perhaps you're
struggling with a sense of isolation, loss of identity, financial
insecurity, or guilt over not being able to "do it all."
Be assured that you are not alone in your feelings.
Whether doing paid
work or unpaid work, we personally know that the transition from full-time
paid employment and the introduction of motherhood can be difficult, and
that support, encouragement, and friendships are essential... so we'd love
to meet you!
Our chapter offers a wide variety of support to our members such as bi-monthly evening meetings; social opportunities including Book Club, and Mom's Night Out; monthly Chapter Newsletter; playgroups; a seasoned moms group; volunteer opportunities; and interactions with other mothers who have made similar decisions. In addition, our chapter offers a SUNSHINE program to help each other during times of need. Currently members receive meals from volunteers in the group after the birth of a child or during recovery from a serious illness or injury.
